Dear Eros
I am drawn to the French expression "la petite mort". It suggests that desire is a small death, a moment when one is alone, not with the other, but through the other. In that instant, something unreachable suddenly becomes possible.
Dear Eros is my attempt to approach that moment. It is a letter that never ends, addressed to a force that both breaks us and moves us forward. I try to speak about what the body remembers: touch, absence, longing, and renewal.
Dear Eros is a photographic project that explores desire, solitude, and the space where passion and sadness meet. The work is conceived as an endless letter addressed to Eros, not only the mythical god of love, but a living force that inhabits longing, memory, loss, and transformation.
